( ) A new work program has the business owners a bit on edge, fearing some of the interns will be less than stellar. But it’s nearly Christmas, and people are feeling charitable. Actually, it turns out to be a good thing, except for Ted, the person running the program. He turns up dead, and of course, Jill is the one who found him slumped in his car. But is it murder or suicide? This story has a lot to offer. It illustrates the importance of giving people a helping hand up the ladder to self-sufficiency. Jill’s shop and her customers donate books to needy children as well as giving a party for kids with Santa. The tale will give you a nice warm holiday feel, well, except for the dead guy. The banter between the characters, especially with Aunt Jackie, is always delightful, and it looks like the handsome barista/cop may be settling down to one lady -but is it truly love? Start the series from the beginning to get the most out the stories. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
