Ward has been rebuilding his home. He is taken prisoner and tortured. He finds love and joins the rebel to overthrow the king. Much darker book with the torture of people. ( )
Enjoyed this continuation of Ward's story, which even gave him a bit of romance, although the majority of the story is about men fighting against an evil king and dragon magic. ( )
