Not much to say about this book except that it's a fun read for little kids. One benefit for parents... it allows the kids to almost watch the movie, just quieter. ( )

This storey is about a girl that got a spell put on her . She would sleep until her true love kissed her. The girl was raised by fairies until her sixteenth birthday. At this time she would be taken back to the castle to her parents. When she returned the evil fairy had put a spell on her. When she pricked her finger on the spindle she fell asleep. The good fairies cast a spell over the entire kingdom, putting everyone to sleep. This gave them time to find her true love. The bad fairy had the prince held in the dungeon so no one could get to him. He finally killed the dragon and got to kiss sleeping beauty
This story is classic. It has been around for ever. It is a great story to tell young children. The pictures are cute. I find that most children like this book. I would use it in my class room probably just to get the children to read something or to pass time.. ( )
