It pains me after giving the first book 5 stars, because it was awesome, to say I did not really enjoy this book. It took me forever to finish it and even made me want to go to the gym! LOL! To sum this book up: It is a compilation of Naz's thoughts....over and over and over! Most of the book I couldn't tell if he and Karissa even liked each other, let alone, love each other. I can't say there was even that much drama at all. There were a few suspect subplots but just nothing making me want to read above all else. ( )

I liked it. Interesting story but some disconnect between characters in my mind. I will certainly read more from this author ( )

Totally dark and loved ever second of it. The book opens up with Karissa completely conflicted on what to do. You can tell she's really struggling on how to move forward knowing what she does. You can really start to see these two feelings for each other in this book. I fell like I learned a lot more about Naz in the second installment. Great ending. ( )

I really like how this author makes her characters be real to themselves. Naz did steal my heart. He has the capability to be a decent person. But he has committed and continues to commit atrocious acts. He makes a conscious decision to be the way that he is. Naz stretches the reader's boundaries of acceptance. You know he's the bad guy, yet you choose to love him. His honestly and forwardness in facing the truth when it comes at himself, no matter how difficult, are rare. People usually deny their mistakes to make themselves feel better about themselves, but not him.

I'll die someday, somehow, and I'm not afraid. Death will be a release for me. Until then, I live vicariously through others, watching them reach the point of acceptance, watching as they fight for one more breath.

Is he on a one way track to hell or can he find solace in Karissa? That is the million dollar question.

I'm sure, if people knew us, if they knew our history...if they read the fine print that accompanied our story...they'd wonder how I could even be here right now.

my God, after reading this series I am sure I ll start falling for criminals :-P
It was a fantastic book. A page turner just like the first book in this series. It didn't feel dragging at any point. It was like, a world was constructed around me, Naz's world. And it was too fascinating to indulge in this world. It was very well written, full of emotions and feelings. Just simply Perfect !
