The language is appropriate for the readers. They use words that the students should know by the words by 3rd-6th grade level. "The first automobile race took place in America in 1985. Brothers Frank and Charles Duryea wanted to show off their Gas-Powered car. The writing is engaging because even though this isn't a picture book the author uses fun fonts to keep the children entertained. First, they use normal fonts for the chapter, but then uses bold/capitalize font for extra stories like "The First Race." The character Henry Ford is believable because he is real-life person. The point of view is third person. The plot is about Henry Ford accomplishments. The illustrations add an extra picture for the students to see and give them more enjoyable reading. The pictures are black and white, but are usually an extra help of making the picture in their head. There was a picture of the new Model A "The new model A had windshield wipers, an automatic starter , other modern features."The book pushes readers to see other people accomplishments and realize their own accomplishments that can achieve in their own life. This is a non-fictional book. ( ) Henry Ford is a Midwestern boy who worked on his fathers farm, the clever engineer o the worlds first mass-produced automobiles, a successful businessman who changed American industry. Henry was born on July 30, 1863 in Dearborn,Michigan he took trips to Detroit with his father and soon moved to Detroit. When he was little he say a farmer run a cart by a steam engine he thought that was pretty cool. I recommend this because if you like automobiles this book tells a lot about that. This is a great biography of Henry Ford! I love that the illustrations are black and white and simplistic, because they add to comprehension, but allow the reader to still focus on the text/chapters. I also like that the writing flows easily and contains age appropriate vocabulary and structure. The main idea of this book is to describe the life of Henry Ford. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
