After last month's abysmal M*A*S*H Goes To Morocco, I was beginning to rethink my plan to reread the M*A*S*H series I loved so well back in my high school days. Radar is getting married, and Hawkeye, Trapper, Hot Lips and Father Mulcahy all travel to Las Vegas to be a part of the ceremony. Along with them come all the wacky characters that have been introduced in the other books. Definitely a product of the 70s, with sexism running rampant. It was appears to have become standard in these books, we meet a strong-willed, independent lady who falls for the series' latest cad, and becomes a frail, helpless lamb who needs her strong hero. Oh yeah, lots of fairy jokes, too. Although these are supposed to be sequels to the original book, they are obviously modeled after the characters as portrayed in the TV show. Stupid book, but fun if you check your brain at the door. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

He has treated Radar as such.
Also although the book is advertised as "The Smash TV hit..." It is carry clear that the novel universe and the TV universe are not the same, not only is the lost of Hotlips's husband's different than on T.V. Radar also invited Henry Blake to his wedding, even though he died in T.V. ( )
