... I mean it's Orwell, it's great, but ... with regard to the ebook, did anyone at the publisher even _look_ at how the footnotes appear? did anyone _look_ at the text? I often get the impression that when it comes to the classics any schmuck can put out an e-edition and charge for it, whether any work at all (let alone, gasp, actual proofing!) was done to really make the ebook acceptable ... Mariner Books is not an unknown schmuck, but the ebook version of this work is schmuckish.

Enough of this shoddiness would be sufficient to make me reject the future, and stick to paper books forever more.
