Omg

What a ride! I loved Jake and Lily's story. It was a real roller coaster. I broke down and cried more than once, I was that engrossed. Very dark and not for most people, but very good. ( )

My Review

Love gets complicated. This story involving rape, violence, and human trafficking brings reality into sharp focus. I can truthfully say that the only thing I liked about these characters is that they had a happy ending. ( )

So I seem to be on a bit of a dark romance craze at the moment. Don't really know why that is. But change is always nice.

All I knew about this book going into was that it was a dark contemporary romance. Not sounds good enough to me. What I was not expecting was the emotional roller coaster that would follow upon reading this book. The story was gripping and the characters were well thought out and developed at the right speed with the growth in the plot. There were even a few surprises that I didn't see coming. Love that in a good story.

The two main characters, Lilly and Jake. Man what do I say. Love really does come at the worse possible time for some people, yet I believe they dealt with it perfectly. Love is never easy, and this story proves that it is worth fighting for.

You loved me at the darkest is a must read for any for that loves a good dark romance read. You won't be disappointed. ( )
