I have the individual issues of Jason Aaron's run and not this omnibus. So, I can't speak to what bonus materials might be within it. I can say that the 22 issues Aron put out for Punisher fans is excellent.

This is a MAX title all the way. The humor is dark, characters are depraved, there's profanity, and loads of violence. So, know this before buying it. It's clearly only for mature audiences.

That written, it's a stellar work. The Punisher is just a man in the book. He's not super human and his actions are all painted in over the series. Frank Castle, Bullseye, and Kingpin are all SOBs of the highest level. There are some very nice twists in this storyline (although I saw all of them coming). Despite knowing where things were going it did nothing to lessen my enjoyment of the comics. Bullseye is finally done right. The Kingpin is also done right because he too has flaws and isn't always outwitting everyone at every step.

Bottom line: This is The Punisher done right. It's a no-holds barred comic book event that anyone who's every wanted to see the Punisher really let loose should plan to buy and own. I can't give Aaron enough credit for his work on this title. ( )
