Attualmente non vi sono conversazioni su questo libro. have read a number of novels by Australian author, Nova Weetman, and I think she writes great books for middle-school readers. However, I didn't think this one was up to the standard I usually expect from this author. Although "The Haunting of Lily Frost" was a quick read, I wasn't a fan of Lily. She made silly decisions and was often stubborn, grumpy and annoying. The plot was predictable and the ending felt rushed. A bland read. ( ) The Haunting of Lily Frost by Nova Weetman is a hair-rising, spine-chilling, blood-curling, nerve-racking horror story that would spread the chills around your body at the end of every chapter. It is a compelling read and is almost impossible to put down. Even when your body is frozen in fear, you have no other choice but to keep turning and turning the pages until you reach the end. It is definitely a must-read. The book features a young teenage girl named Lily, who moves to a small town called Gideon. Lily knows nobody - but someone seems to know her... Things start to turn from strange to creepy, as Lily has to make sense of the watery footprints on her floor and the cold air that seeps into her bones. And before she even knows it, she's wearing a jacket that belonged to the dead. What is happening? The plot in this novel is captivating and is the definition of horror itself. The story creates tension at the end of each and every chapter, always drawing readers deeper and deeper in. Weetman targets young adult readers, and she does this very well. As a teenager myself, the way she describes Lily's lifestyle and thoughts is very relatable. The writing style is very casual, making it very easy to read and understand. Overall, all the elements in this book complement each other very well, forming an exceptional young adult horror story. This book definitely needs more attention and fame, and should be read by everyone who is ready to have their hairs raised to the ceiling. I proudly rate this novel a 5 out of 5 stars. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Coming to, she's overcome by the whispers of secrets. Determined to find out why, Lily is thrown into the path of cute local boy Danny. He's not giving anything away, so it's up to Lily to make sense of the watery footprints on her floor and the cold air that constantly seeps into her bones. For Lily, life in this small town is about to get very interesting as she finds herself seeing things she thought belonged to the dead.
