An abandoned and trained sub finds his needs met by a big dom on Valentine's Day. Everything moved very quickly especially Kyle's surrendering but it's a short story. I would have liked it better if it was longer. Good, clean writing kept this story together. ( )

Sexy and very, very emotional ( )

Wow. This little gem packed a punch! For such a short story, I was totally engrossed in the story and loved the characters. I absolutely loved the ending and was pleasantly surprised. Loved this. ( )

I just loved this story! You have a lost young man, Kyle, who is clearly in need of rescue – from himself as much as the outside world. And you have a growly, masterful, leather-clad bartender called Beau (NEVER call him by his full name, Beauregard). Need I say more?

Kyle is a young man who has been robbed and rejected then finds himself in a leather bar, ogled by strangers. The bartender attracts his attention, but it's one of the other customers who gets the truth out of Kyle over sharing a soft drink. What emerges, slowly, is heart-breaking. Kyle wants nothing more than to submit, but he has been rejected by his old Master and been told to find someone better suited for him. Being the good submissive Kyle is, he tries to do his Master's bidding, even though it breaks his heart. He doesn't succeed either, and to top it all off, the guy he was trying to work things out with kicked him to the curb, minus phone and coat.

Beau is so attracted to the amazing young man in his bar, a guy he can only think of as "boy", that he doesn’t know what to do with himself. He is tough, independent, and not interested in strays… and yet, he cannot seem to resist Kyle. When he takes him home with him, what follows is as unavoidable as it is beautiful and leaves both men in an emotional mess yet panting for more.

If you like "rescue fantasies", if you enjoy a good D/s fairy tale with plenty of heat, and happiness after suffering, and if you're looking for a read that will warm your heart, you will love this book as much as I do.

Loved the little twist in this one even though I figured it out before it came out. I just wish it was longer. I'd love to know their history. ( )
