I adore Arin so getting these exchanges with his mother were the highlight. Seeing Arin as a child is, perhaps, the most intimate moment a reader can have with him. Protected from the harsh reality of the world by his parents (in this short story, mother in particular), our 8 year old Arin is still vulnerable, gentle and innocent. He's still loved and nortured. It's hard to imagine that some months later he'll be forced to turn the most tragic and cruel page of his life. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

I really liked this story. I wonder how this anecdote ties in to the larger picture of the series. I'm excited to keep reading and find out! ( )
