When he meets Rosie, a PhD candidate, his world is turned upside down. By the Wife Project standards, she is wholly unsuitable for him. However, Rosie hasn't sought him out as part of the Wife Project; she wants his help to find her biological father.The Rosie Project delves into topics such as Asperger's Syndrome, changing for the people you love, and why being different isn't always a bad thing. Graeme Simsion skillfully handles the matter of the protagonist's undiagnosed condition, creating a likeable character and giving readers the means to understand him. The author's writing style is light and humorous, though some readers may find some elements of the story difficult to believe. Featuring a full complement of fleshed out characters with their own quirks, and no shortage of hilarious moments, The Rosie Project is sure to please anyone looking for a light-hearted romance.
