This is a good book about adventure to introduce to students. It is also a different culture in NYC so showing to students people live and get to places differently then using cars. This book shows examples of friendship and meeting people with common interests.

It is a good example of realistic fiction because it talks about the real story between a boy and a poet.
The boy found the lady's hat and gave back to her. The lady was a poet and she started poem by watching. She wrote the things people often ignored. The boy began his poem with the inspiration by this lady.
It is a interesting book to read. I believe that poem begins with watching.When I read this book, plots and stories are before my eyes.

She gives him his own blank notebook at the end of the book to begin his own poetry. He takes her advice and begins his poetry by sitting on a bench and watching everything around him.
