While Jesse appears to be a ten-year-old boy, he is convinced that he is Zoxil Prolot, an alien who has been sent to study Earth. He doesn't fit in with his Earth-family, and school isn't easy, either. At least his beloved Grandpa is there for him. But when Grandpa gets sick, Zoxil's behavior gets him into serious trouble. Zoxil's Earth-parents get professional help for their out-of-control son, unaware that the psychologist is also an "alien." Zoxil discovers that surviving on Earth will require some new and different skills, which feel pretty "alien" to him.
