It is a pity that in my area not all ingredients can be purchased, or I would have tried more of the recipes already. ( )

I am still cooking my way through this book and have found very few dishes I did not enjoy. Because of it's geographic location, Thai cuisine is a fusion of several other Far Eastern styles and yet it has some unique characteristics of its own. Contrary to popular opinion, not all the dishes are hot and spicy. All have a blend of seasonings that may take you a while to find all the flavorings.

In addition to the recipes, there is an excellent introduction that presents you with some of the unique ingredients and acquaints you with the basic techniques. An excellent choice for the adventurous chef. ( )
