What a story! Cute illustrations with the worker ants wearing hard hats and the aardvark getting more and more interesting as the story unfolds. ( )

I read this for the "Orange On The Cover" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I loved it, the artwork was simple and cute and the ants were hilarious. I really enjoyed that they were Carpenter ants and wore hard hats. ( )

Five carpenter ants have different theories about what's outside their tree stump, based on the colors they can see. Is it a rainbow? Or is it a pajama-wearing, ketchup-carrying, gecko-guiding, dozer-driving, orange aardvark pouring purple grape juice?
