A great exploration of what different colours mean to different people. "'Brrr!' Grandma says. 'Gray is cold. Like the sky before a storm.' But my gray is as cozy as a curled-up kitten and the sound of soft rain on the roof." It's so lyrical and the art is really gorgeous, I especially like the lush green forest. Check out Catia Chien's beautiful paintings! ( ) My Blue Is Happy is about how some may think the color blue is sad like a sad song, but someone else may think blue is happy like a favorite pair of blue jeans. Colors can mean very different things to different people. It is important to understand that not everyone thinks the same and has the same opinions. A young girl travels her inner circle, comparing the feelings that colors evoke to hers; finding they are quite unique and different. This does not deter her though. The color blue for her is happy, because it reminds her of her favorite blue jeans, and the swimming pool on a hot, summer day. The color yellow on the other hand, whom her mom finds "cheery", is worrisome to her, "like a wilting flower". This book is definitely for those who want to introduce the idea embracing differences. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
