From the synopsis, I knew there would be a lot of sex, but I wasn't expecting so much sex and so little plot. From Christina dumping her fiance and hours later sleeping with Andres and Karri the druggy it was all one big jumble for me. I would have loved to have seen more of an actual plot and maybe a bit more conversation between the characters, especially with Karri's reveal at the end! ( )

This book is so good. It is amazing that so many parents are like Christina’s or even like Karri, but unfortunately it happens more than fairy tales would like you to believe. I love the way both Christina and Andres have demons to conquer, but they are determined to do it together on nothing but a whim and a prayer. It sounds like a pretty great 21st birthday present to me. I was cheering Christina on as she took back her power, took over her life, and gave all the negativity a swift kick. I was not expecting that curve ball in the end from Jackson, though. Although, I guess it shouldn’t have surprised me. I will be going to pick up the next one shortly. This is a really good series. ( )

Say when is the first book in a Series entitled “Something More”. I have to say that I don’t remember exactly what led me to add this book to my to read list. But all in all it’s a good book. It’s a story about love and what happens when love doesn’t meet everyone else’s expectations. For Christina it’s a lesson in finding herself, she learns that she is sick and tired of living her life for someone else dreams and finally decides its worth the risk to take the leap with a guy, Andrés. He’s everything she’s ever been warned against but yet the connection between them is instantaneous. Not for sure where it will lead she starts to carve out her own path in life, only to discover that she can do it for herself. And she also begins to see what having someone truly on her side means. And then we have Andrés he’s Ex- Army, and still learning how to manage life on the outside, when he sees a girl in distress and decides to help her out, little does he know that she may be the salve for the ache he carries from the war. Constantly feeling that he will never be good enough for her he has to learn that everyone carries their own scars. Saying all that about this book, I will tell you that I will follow this series. As a matter of fact “Say Yes” book 2 is the next on my list to read! I also have to let you know that this book is sort of written a little differently. Almost 3rd person at least once in the chapter, kind of like someone was looking in and conveying what was going on maybe a recap? I don’t know. At first it wasn’t my favorite thing but as the book went on it was more like setting up or recapping the scene. So it wasn’t all bad! Just different!!!
