The whole Block series is remarkable and any of them that I have seen so far, I highly recommend. Being board books, the pages are sturdy and nearly indestructible, but due to the great thickness (I mean, 26 letters, each with a two-page spread plus a foldover and all cardboard), the book binding is more fragile than usual for a board book. They need just a bit of care -- adult normal book sense is adequate to preserve them, but toddlers carrying the book around by one cover or a random page could cause damage. SO WORTH IT. This one is wonderful. There's a glimpse of what the answer is -- B is for?? and you flip the foldover peekaboo page to find dozens of BALLOONS. Attractive art, learning letters, and a guessing game. Perfect. ( ) This is a perfect alphabet book! It is very chunky book with thick pages cut into the shape of each alphabet letter. It's created as a peek-through guessing game, too. E.g., A is for ....then the picture of an object. Young kids interact with the pages; they familiarize themselves with the 26 letters and associated words and also with each letter's physicality--angles, holes, and curves, both front and back. Great for all kinds of learners - visual, auditory, and especially kinesthetic kids. A great introduction to the alphabet with wonderful words and pictures associated with each letter are well thought out. The letter "G" for garden is so cute! Along with a wheelbarrow and a shovel and dirt ready to plant a garden. The pictures describe the scene and the word chosen to represent the letter I highly recommend this book for kindergarten and first grade. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
