I have been waiting for the Ultimate X-Men series to get back to Magneto, and I definitely wasn't disappointed with this arc. Magneto is back in all of his manipulative glory, and I loved it. I think that Vaughan really nailed Magneto's characterization wonderfully here, and I wish that he had used the character more during his run on Ultimate X-Men.

That said, I didn't like the art. The faces were all far too angular for my tastes, although Magneto always looked pretty good (maybe the angular look suits him better). But, that was relatively minor; otherwise, I really enjoyed this trade. ( )
