I like the work of Red Garnier as a rule. This story, however, was too short for the style from previous work to show through. It was well written, but fairly predictable. ( )

Graves has fallen in love with Chloe a long time ago. But he is fighting his feelings for her because she is his best friend's little sister and thinks he is not good enough for her. Chloe is also in love with him but thinks he doesn't like her because he barely acknowledges her. As he realizes she is not waiting around any longer and looks for another man he finally goes after her. He is definitely the brooding type and still hasn't come to terms with his rough upbringing. So, let's say he has some issues, in the bedroom included.

This novella could have easily had another 100 pages. The developement of the characters and the story could have been much deeper and more evolved.
It is so over the top at times. They throw money around as if there is no tomorrow but you can't ecpect something else from a book about a billionaire, right?
But it definitely made me laugh and entertained me and the author's writing style is very engaging.

Claimed by Him by Red Garnier is first in the Billionaire's club series and is novella sized. It is a fun, fast read.

One page in and I had to tell myself this was more of a fairy tale than fcat based fiction. I have a hard time wrapping my mind around anyone having that much $money$, but once the fairytale part sunk in - I was good to go.
Graves is hot and tall and rich and slightly damaged - perfect for our heroine, Chloe Lexington, to fix just in time for the HEA!

I picked this book up because I have the opportunity to review the second book in the series Taken by Him. I hate reading books out of order, even if it isn't necessary to read them in order. I blame my slight OCD like tendencies. Either way, I will be starting the next book TONIGHT!
