Ali has a no good boyfriend who's philandering ways has her being framed for theft. She's had a hard life but is always looking to the positive side of things. Luke is a cop who feels guilty about everything and when he left San Francisco to escape to Lucky Harbor finds himself getting involved with Ali and her troubles, determined to find out who is framing her for the theft.

This book was good. Not as good as the previous Lucky Harbor novels though. Sadly I didn't feel as though I was in Lucky Harbor at all. Other than that, for the beginning of the book I didn't feel the chemistry as I had in the other books, but about half way I started to like them a lot more. I am also intrigued by Jack and Leah... whom i am assuming the next book will be about. (

Another winner.

I read the Lucky Harbor books out of order, and this is my last one, which makes me sad. But Ms. Shalvis has other series, which makes me happy. Her writing is consistent, her characters three dimensional and realistic, their stories heart-wrenching, heart-warming and captivating. (
