The book is a great introduction to graphic novels and fantasy. I did feel, however, that it took too much time building the story to the climax and then quickly ended after that. The story was slightly silly and very imaginative, so it makes for a great book in an elementary school classroom.

Poor prince was turned into a frog from an evil sorcer. The princess grows to respect the frog and gives him a kiss.

I liked this book because of the fairy tale story of how the princess found her prince by kissing the frog.

I would use this in my classroom to show them how the prince overcame the scorcers power. How the princess with her kiss turned him back into a prince.

This comic adaptation of the classic Princess and Frog story is a gem. Eisner masterfully illustrates both gesture and emotion. ( )

This is a very cute book that retells the story of a Brothers Grimm, and how the prince magically turned into a frog. I read this when I was younger, but after reading it again, I still laughed.

A very nice retelling of the Brothers Grimm story about a prince magically turned into a frog, and the spoiled beautiful princess who learns a lesson about selfless generosity from him. Told by a master, geared for children, but quite acceptable to grownups too. ( )
