While short it sticks with you. ( )

This is one of those stories that I revisit because I'm troubled by it. In so many ways I found it disturbing and terrible but in so many others it was amazing. ( )

Curiously unique. I mean that the subject, approach, development, and characters were all so unpredictable that this short 30 pager kept me guessing at every page.

I'm going to check out more of author Swirsky's literature. I really enjoyed this peek into her writing universe. ( )

This tantalising tale of love, art and obsession will strike a particular chord with those who’ve read The Golden Key. Lisane da Patagnia, the most brilliant painter of her generation, is charismatic, compelling and cruel, attended by a train of adoring apprentices.
