In this nonfiction selection, photographs showcase children from all over the world as they demonstrate how they stay healthy. This book can spark conversations about health, safety, and cultural differences and similarities. Foreword, Photo Credits 4. The Global Fund for Children, a nonprofit organization, created a picture book to relay the message of healthy kids who live all over the world, what it takes to be a healthy kid, to value diversity, and the importance of being a productive and caring citizen on the world. In my opinion this is a fabulous book. I liked this book because the pictures, titles, and information are engaging for readers. The titles for each page share the message of what healthy kids do, and then the illustrations support the message by providing authentic pictures of children form different countries doing the same thing to be healthy. For example, a page read. “Healthy kids need clean water to drink,” and the pictures showed children from Japan, India, and Ghana drinking clean water. I like how the clear language connects the reader to those of other countries who do the exact same thing. The book stresses the importance that we all are neighbors which I love. The book truly pushes readers to broaden their perspectives of other countries routines of living a healthy life and how similar they are to every other human being in other areas around the world. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
