Ajax past owner died in Vietnam. Vietnam was still going on but during then Chuck would spend more and more time with Ajax bonding with him. One day the Commander called him in and told him about him being assigned in Vietnam. That wasn't the only thing then his commander assigned him to go with Ajax because of the bond together. There they both were in the Vietnam Ajax and Chuck doing there job. But when Chuck got shot Ajax was trying to help him but that's when a grenade was thrown from about 12 feet away. Both woke up in what would be a church, Ajax on Chuck, with one leg gone, crying because they were both still there, the commander came and told the soldier that he keep Ajax with him over the years.
