I liked everything about this story.

The case is complex. It kept me guessing from the start although I did lock on to my theory and couldn't see any other way for the case to resolve. I loved the twists.

Lucy and Sean. Their relationship continues to develop and grow. They are a solid team and trust one another when it counts. I'm looking forward to more with them in the future.

Family drama. This story focuses on the Rogan family drama. It is tense to see Duke and Sean reveal their concerns about one another.

The ending is more than satisfying with the resolutions to the case and the various relationships involved. This is my favorite in this series so far.

Finally, I jumped back and forth reading and listening. Kate Udall is narrating. The first couple books had another narrator. I don't know if Kate had a scheduling conflict or what, but I like her style a little better than the first narrator. ( )

The author puts together a good adventure in this little novella. Once again, Lucy and Sean try to escape for a romantic getaway only to get pulled into a criminal investigation. I love these characters but there are times when Sean or Lucy seem out of character or don't think through their actions.

Reckless is must read if you are committed to the series, but not my favorite. ( )

Maybe I just need a break from Lucy Kincaid, but I struggled with this one - putting it aside several times before finally finishing it. What makes it more painful is that this was a novella, not a full length novel.

Lucy is still training to be an FBI agent, while Sean (her boyfriend) has gone undercover working with Noah. It wasn't bad... again, maybe I've read too many Lucy Kincaid books recently.

Reading the beginning of Stolen, the next real book in the Lucy Kinkaid-Series, I thought I missed some storyline.
Through Fictfact.com (strong suggestion to all readers of Series register there for the easy following of Series) I found out, that I missed a Novella.
Usually I am reluctant to buy that, if it is too pricey - and this one was over my self-set-barrier of 1 Eur, but I caved and bought it nonetheless.
Just a strong suggestion: Novellas should be a cheap teaser and cost 0.89 Eur or just 1 Us$ - or be entirely free.
Or there should be a collection if a series is closed of all short stories and novellas - but also cheap.

Highly recommended before reading stolen, nice short read, before reading Stolen, the next full book in the series, I think it helps with some background but is not essential. ( )

I can't get enough of the Lucy Kincaid story. And poor Sean and Lucy--will they ever get to go on a romantic vacation?
Seriously though, this was an action packed, quick read. I love how the characters evolve but never lose who they are and everything is so interconnected. Can't wait for next installment. ( )
