Life has been non-stop excitement for American Army veteran Megan Malone ever since she moved to Ireland and became a driver for Dublin's Leprechaun Limousine Service. She's solved a murder and adopted two lovable Jack Russell puppies. Currently, she's driving world-class champion golfer Martin Walsh, and he's invited her to join him while he plays in a tournament at a prestigious Irish locale. Unfortunately, there's a surprise waiting for her on the course - a body floating in a water hazard. Everyone loved golfer Lou MacDonald, yet he clearly teed off someone enough to be murdered. Martin seems to be the only one with a motive. However, he also has an alibi - Megan and hundreds of his fans were watching him play.… (altro)

The non-stop showdown with The Master is finally here. Consistently solid storytelling, and a good end to a good series. Also, Seattle leveled by mystical happenings is always interesting to imagine. ( )

This is the last book in the Urban Shaman series, a series I've long enjoyed. It did everything a finale should do: it wrapped up all loose ends, put every character in their right place, and left us with a hopeful future. It was marvelous.

This isn't the end for Joanne, even though it's the end of the series. It's a beginning. Joanne has completed her journey and she's ready to start a new one.

I'm having trouble saying how much I enjoyed this book without spoiling things. I responded emotionally to it: I laughed out loud, I shed tears, and when the book ended I was smiling.

Thank you, C.E. Murphy. This was wonderful.

All things must pass but, even if it was an epic ending, it turned Joanna in a sort of Shaman Mother Theresa. Please give me back the kick-ass character of the first book. I had to read it but it is the weakest one of all the Walker Papers. ( )

Joanne takes on the Master and wins, but loses Coyote. Gary's wife comes back from the dead, but wasn't really dead. Nice wrap up to the series. Library still doesn't have No Dominion, so won't have read the entire series. ( )

I have loved the Walker Papers since reading the first book and though I was sad the series was ending, I eagerly looked forward to this last story. Murphy's series has been a delight from the first, particularly the way she built the various relationships across them, rather than wrapping things up neatly with the end of each novel. That's why I think I was disappointed in this last entry in the series.

It is time for Joanne to finally face her nemesis, and all of her adventures (both good an bad) have been leading up to this big finale. Even though we knew it was coming after reading No Dominion, I already didn't like the premise that Gary's wife was magically alive and just appeared in a hospital. My biggest complaint, however, is that this novel was very, very magic heavy, complete with explanations that were way too detailed for me. I missed the banter and relationships that had been nurtured throughout the series and would have loved an epilogue to give some sort of update on where folks landed. The ending seemed abrupt, and the novel was missing the charm of the earlier series entries. If you've stuck with the series this long I definitely recommend reading this last novel to see how it all works out, but it may not be what you were expecting. It certainly wasn't for me. ( )
