This was a cute Christmas novella that I got for free as a Goodreads Deal of the Day. I really enjoyed the author’s voice and style. Tessa and Nick have known each other for years and started up a tech business together. Now, eight years later, Tessa is moving on from the company, and while she and Nick are still friends, they both secretly wish for something more, which has been complicated since Tessa has been on/off dating Nick’s best friend. When a Secret Santa begins leaving gifts to the theme of her favorite song, will it finally be true love? This was great for something enjoyable and light to read when you’re in a holiday sort of mood. 4/5 stars.

If you are a fan of Robin Covington, you won't be disappointed by this novella!
Short and steamy, it is a fun little read at 54 pages - about the right length for a lunch break read!

Tessa is leaving the gaming software company she helped found, but she's also leaving behind business partner Nick for whom she's always carried a bit of a torch. She's recently split up - again - with their mutual friend and business partner Damien, and is trying to figure out how to let Nick know how she feels - all the while Nick is secretly planning on letting her know he is interested in her with a series of Secret Santa gifts.

Sexy and at times over the top, you'll enjoy this story! (

Nicholas is adorable. Attractive, sensitive and in love. Now he needs to step up to the plate and get the girl. Tessa feelings for Nicholas are complicated but run deep. Unsure of how to proceed she has never pursued them. Robin Covington's friends to lover's story is funny, heartstopping and endearing. I received a copy of Secret Santa Baby in exchange for an honest review. Every girl's fantasy brought to life through the pages and words of a deliciously irresistible novel. (

Secret Santa Baby was a short and sweet friends-to-lovers romance that can take a super annoying holiday song (seriously, does anyone like that song???) and make it cute and romantic....plus, put you in a warm and fuzzy holiday mood to boot. Tessa and Nicholas are so cute together that on the one hand it's fortunate that this book is so short, since you're dying for them to get together :) (On the other hand, there's not a whole lot of development here outside their relationship--honestly, it felt like four people worked at their business, even though I'm sure that's not the case. For a lot of the book, it seemed that four people made up the entire fictional world.) Still, this was a fun book to cuddle up with on a snowy day.
