The hint of love and a crush that makes one claim to do almost impossible things, such as Zadie claiming to be able to raise her dead sister only to impress a boy ... Goth boy Gavin. The impossible turns out to be not so impossible. It's a very interesting and entertaining story. There's a lot of magic that goes on in the story and it's very well written. Zadie's sister is near death and when Zadie finds out that because of something she did has brought her sister out of her coma, the story explodes. Zadie is a new found witch who has made a deal with the devil in regards to her sister. Now, she must find a way to make everything right.
Dorothy Dreyer has touched on an intriguing and captivating subject here for the teenagers. This is what they like to read and I hope to read many more. (
