This was a real disappointment. I read Stargate books to cheer myself up when life gets a bit overwhelming. But I didn't like this one much at all. It just all seemed a bit pointless and I got rather bored. The plot didn't seem to have an aim. I was never fond of the episodes when characters got stuck in virtual reality and this just reinforced that feeling. And while self doubt of a character can certainly work in a book when it would not in an episode, Jack's self doubt here it seemed contrived.
Sorry Miss Botsford but I would not recommend this book. ( )
