This book was really neat, and about a tiger (quite obviously by the title). This book had a lot of end rhyme in it, and I thought the pictures enhanced the book a lot. The illustrations of this book are amazing, and I really liked the book as a whole. ( )

I would use this as an independent read for 4th graders. I chose fourth grade because students in younger grades would not be able to understand the vocabulary or the connections the poem makes between innocence vs. experience. I would use this as an independent read because not all students believe in God or heaven so it may make them uncomfortable. ( )

The poem denotes Blake's own version of "The Tyger." The art in this book is incredible, it keeps readers anticipating for more. ( )

The illustrations make this classic poem more interesting and easier to comprehend. While it's aimed at younger readers, it could still add interest for older students studying Blake/Romanticism.
