The big idea of these poems is in relation to opposites, however I think there are some powerful lines, even though most of them can be humorous and witty, there are some that are very powerful and true. For example, one of the poems goes, "what's the opposite of a baby? The answer is a grown-up, maybe" That one in specific stuck out to me because even though it is humorous, and on the page there is a grown man in a stroller with a speech bubble that says, "I want my mommy!" it is still a very accurate statement. There are many adults who act like babies and children so even though this book is meant to be humorous to children, the wittiness can still prove a point and can still be a teaching lesson. ( )
