This story is about a bunny named Harold and his mother. Harold's mother said today was beach day. So Harold got everything ready for the beach. First Harold went swimming, then looked for sea shells and then went fishing. Then Harold ask what was for lunch his mother liked being prepared so she brought tons. Then Harold was sad because he brought everything to the beach but his lunch. The Harold's mother said you brought your teeth and that's all you need, and your the best beach bunny.
Personal reaction:
My reaction to this book is that it teaches children to be prepared . It also teaches them not be upset if they forget something.
Classroom extensions:
1. Have a template of a bunny and then have pieces that Harold brought to the beach have them color and cut out and decorate their own bunny.
2. Have your students draw their own beach with what they want to bring and write what they did on the beach.
