But I found the book valuable.
There is a long list of ailments/diseases in alphabetical order, basic dietary advice about how best to heal the ailment, followed by seven suggested juicing recipes.
For example, for osteoporosis:
Calcium-Rich cocktail is made from 3 kale leaves, a small handful of parsley, 4-5 carrots, greens removed and ½ apple, seeded.
For Varicose Veins:
Garlic Express, for which you should use a handful of parsley, a garlic clove, 4-5 carrotss, greens removed and 2 stalks of celery.
I see that many of the listed juices contain 4-5 carrots.
There are recipes for underweight people, e.g.:
Sweet and Sour Cherry Cream
I cup cherries, pitted
4 oz nonfat yoghurt.
At the end of the book, various diets are suggested together with recipes for a juice fast.
It is not only about juicing but gives much general dietary advice.
I borrowed the book from the library, but when I decide to start juicing regularly I may purchase it. ( )
