From a little egg, out comes the most appealing child-size dino with a wonderful friendly smile. But month by month, he gets bigger and wider and longer and taller. This book comes with a CD with the story sang in a very catching song. The children I read it to are obsessed with it. This story takes you through the months of the year with a boy and his dinosaur pet. I would read this to young elementary students and below to teach the months of the year. ( )

This is a cute book with beautiful/cute illustrations. The book is simple. It is about a boy who has a pet dinosaur and figures out different ways to take care of his dinosaur throughout the story.

This was a cute book about a boy who has a dinosaur and each month of the year he has a different comment to state about taking care of it. The illustrations are wonderful. They are bright and cover each page. This book has an accompanying CD. Because I read it in a bookstore I wasn't able to experience the book as it was meant to be. I feel that without hearing the music on the CD, the pages where there should have been music didn't make sense to read.
