This book would be perfect to incorporate reading into a math lesson. The book has numbers on each page and would help young students practice counting and number skills while also working on reading and comprehending skills. I think this book would be for preschool, maybe kindergarten, depending on how advanced the students were. ( )

Ants carry away a picnic in this rhyming story. The number of theiving ants doubles for each item from one to five hundred twelve. The story is simple, but the math activities at the back are a slightly more complex way to build number sense. ( )
