In my opinion, The Indoor Noisy Book, is a very engaging and entertaining book for young readers. The illustrations are bright and bold! They enhance the story, and keep the reader interested. This book focuses not on what can be seen by Muffin the dog, but on what is being heard. The book is very engaging and promotes child-participation about sounds. For young readers, they can make the sounds and answer the questions. For example, “First he could hear the little boy’s feet coming up the stairs. How was that? Pat pat pat pat.” The plot would also interest a young reader because it is about puppies, children, food, and home life. The big idea of this book is to teach children about different sounds and engage them while doing so! ( )

This is a great little book about a dog who has to spend the day in the house because he is sick. ( )
