This story is set in 1879 in the provence of Natal in South Africa. It tells the story of the Zulu War against Britain and all her might. The main characters find them enveloped by the real ongoing conditions of that time which led up to the actual Zulu War. It is a subject not well known, and I give high marks to the author, Graham Diamond, for brining this piece of important history to life. ( )
