I really enjoyed reading your first book and look forward to the sequel. Thank you for sharing."From children's book author and editor - April Jones Prince:"I was happy to read "Danny and the Portal of the World" and discover David T. Lee's vivid imagination. The story has so much action, and there is obviously a very creative and fertile mind behind it. For example, I love the Inventions Famous Ingredients Store! David has a fabulous vocabulary and terrific use of details. He also did a great job choosing which moments in the story to illustrate; the illustrations of the 4,982 jeeps and SUVs and the amusement park are especially wonderful. All in all, a great achievement!"… (altro)

Danny and the Portal of the World was written and illustrated by a 7 years old student in Massachusetts. This book contains 12 chapters, approximately 4,500 words and 24 detail black and white pencil drawings. It was published on August 1, 2011 and is available for sale on Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com.

It is a very excited story talking about instant transporting and traveling. Danny was transferred from England to Massachusetts when he suddenly slipped into his own invention. He designed a portal that can move objects from one place to another immediately. The story is full of imagination, funny scenes, creative drawings and marvelous use of vocabularies by a talented young author David T Lee.

The assistant principal from David’s school, staff from a local public library and a long time children book author/editor are all amazed by David’s achievement at such young age. Starting August 2011, he will be posting weekly on his author’s blog “Books”R”Fun” located at the web address below.

I am very proud of David’s passion on writing and his goal to inspire young children to read and write more often.

Good job and continue to improve! ( )

I just read Danny and the Portal of the World by David T. Lee and thought it was so good! It was really entertaining to read and he has a really good vocabulary for a second grader! I'm definitely looking forward to Part 2 and can't believe he published so young. Check his book out at Amazon.com!

I was happy to read "Danny and the Portal of the World" and discover David T. Lee's vivid imagination. The story has plenty of action, and there is obviously a very creative and fertile mind behind it. David has a fabulous vocabulary and great use of details, especially for being just seven years old. He also did a great job choosing which moments in the story to illustrate; the drawings of the 4,982 jeeps and SUVs and the amusement park are especially wonderful. All in all, a great achievement at such a young age!
