I like Jill Shavis books, but this novella was just okay. Ally is an arson investigator and Eddie is the handsome firefighter who is interested in her. They dated a couple of times, but Ally kind of pushed Eddie away, so he reluctantly decided to let her go even though he's still interested in her. Ally only thought that he was too much of a player. They are collecting toys for the city fire departments together and when Ally starts receiving sex toys in the boxes, the two decide to investigate.
This is a cute story and they make a nice couple. The subplot with Damon Claus was strange though which is why I took off some stars. (

)
