Very cute and hones book about the mating rituals of animals and draws a good intro to how to talk about how people begin mating rituals and have babies. ( )

A book for explaining the facts of life for younger readers. Rather than going into the gruesome details, this book looks at some of the mating rituals throughout the animal world, including our own species. Nothing icky but always forthright, the wonderfully illustrated book includes a rhyming explanation of each animals mating rituals, a fascinating fact and some groovy pictures. A good way to start explaining to questioning kids how babies come about. ( )
