I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to implementing some more centers into my classroom. It gave a lot of ideas to provide engaging activities for my higher-performing students. I wish it had blank templates that I could use and fill in easily instead of starting from scratch. ( )

This book is comprised of many ideas to use in the gifted classroom. It says K-8 but I could argue that most high school classes could adapt these projects in their classrooms as well. The book also lays out multiple ways that you could find time to implement these activities into your classroom if your district has a very demanding curriculum.

I have to say I LOVE this book. As a teacher of gifted students I find myself adapting some of these ideas continuously and the students really seem to like them.

Please let me know if you'd like to see pictures of my students' products from the ideas in this book or examples of them being used. Thank you so much for allowing me an Early copy of the book. I will keep it in my classroom along with my other lesson planning books for many years to come! ( )

This book had a great structure and format. I appreciated how the author organized the book by content area and topic. It was quick to read and easy to understand; however, I found that I already knew much of the information presented in the text. As another reviewer mentioned, this would be a great introductory book for college students in both the general education and gifted tracks!

I received this book as an Early Reviewer. This book would be great for college students going through an Education program. As a teacher myself (even as a young teacher), I found myself skipping many sections because I already knew most of the content. I did enjoy some of the activities that the book listed, such as the flow chart or the tag cloud, but those were brain refreshers to use in the classroom. ( )

I have not a final idea on the book yet. The format and content is not very sharp - while the focus is extremely targeted.
In others words, the style is good enough for parenting 101, but the public is overly qualified teachers who should know most of the content.

I'll amend my review as I find very specific + and - in the rest of the book.
