This book was amazing! I love how the gender roles are nonexistent. Lola’s dad was seen folding clothes. Taking care of the baby’s diaper and reading to the children. I also love the fact that the book is about a little black girl’s passion to read books to her little brother. It’s touching, and I love it! ( )

Lola is a good big sister and reads books that she likes and books she believes her little brother would like. Ages: 4-8.

A young girl wants to read to his brother like her mother did for her. Moral: Engage competently in group activities

I love sibling books! The older sister reads to her younger sibling in the story.

This book could be used for many different reason. It can help older children out with getting a new sibling and also show them how they can be helpful when a new baby does arrive.
