B This is an inventive look at machines, combining it with large flaps to open and questions to engage. Low looks at one machine after another that works in the city and then asks a question about it. This is an interactive book. My niece is infatuated with trucks and big machines. She loved the realistic drawings and situations the machines and trucks were in throughout the story. This book is beautifully illustrated, which is good, since toddlers often know their big trucks and machines very well! This book even caters to older readers who want, and can understand, more information about machines. This is an more advanced picture book that describes a lot about machinery. I would use this in more of an advanced elementary class. I enjoy this book because it is very interactive with the picture being able to move when the reader plays with the pictures. I would use this in a classroom to show what machines actually do for the community and how important they are. The artwork and idea behind how it was executed was pure wonderful. I really like how the artist went beyond with his work and made it interactive. The opening of additional pages on the original picture was a delight! This book was a fun read and I learned more than I've known about the work of machines. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
