wvlibrarydude: The old men sitting around telling stories compared very well in method of telling story. If you liked this aspect of either book, then check out the other one.
Un piacevole esercizio nel campo del giallo e delle possibilità, sembra più che King abbia voluto mettersi alla prova con un genere che non è il suo, e tutto sommato la cosa gli è riuscita abbastanza bene. L'editore italiano però non deve essere stato dello stesso avviso, dal momento che la quarta di copertina (per non parlare della copertina in sé!) lascia intendere tutt'altro.
Mettiamola così: se vi dimenticate chi l'ha scritto e non vi aspettate un thriller mozzafiato, allora è una buona lettura che va via in un paio d'orette. ( )
Consiglio di leggere questo piccolo book di Stefano Re che, a me personalmente, è piaciuto molto. Compresa la post-fazione. Non ci sono mezze misure come dice King: o ti piace o ti fa schifo. Io propendo per la prima idea. Lunga vita, qualunque cosa sia, a Stephen King. ( )
