Blue is surprised when an egg arrives in her nest. After searching the city (New York) for Egg's mother, Blue decides that they are on their own. Throughout the winter the two of them have many fun adventures, but when it turns to spring egg begins to look sickly. On the first beautiful day, Blue wakes up to see that Egg has disappeared. At the bottom of the tree Blue finds a flower she believes was egg. ( )
