I read way too much of this compared to the fact that I really didn't like it. I don't know what this was supposed to be, but there was no emotional resonance and not really sexual tension either. I guess it was kind of trying to do both and failed miserably. Mental note: next time give up earlier... ( )

A divorced writer with a friend who is encouraging her that it is time to start dating again opens her home to her college age son and his roommate during a school break. The roommate is going through a difficult time with his girlfriend and the son is hoping to bring him out of his doldrums.
The mother and roommate are attracted to each other and they are drawn together by their love for tennis. Their attraction for each other continues to grow and they begin having difficulty keeping their hands off of each other. They realize that they should cool things a little and just remain friends before they go too far.
He returns to school but he cannot get her off of his mind and he makes the decision to go see her on his own. The rest you can find out by reading the book.
A very good quick read. ( )

Couldn't get into this the first time I sat down the read it, but I'm willing to give it a second go someday.

Strange that I read this back-to-back with the "Fifity Shades" Trilogy as I ordinarily don't read books this sexually graphic. However, sadly, this book suffers by comparison. The style is not that great, mostly it feels like a nineteen-year-old boy's daydream; although I can appreciate how tricky it must be to write a detailed novel of this nature. It seemed to lack realism, so therefore works well if you consider it fantasy. It also followed a farily predictable course. I wouldn't track down another book by this author. A few typos too. ( )

These was so much tension built up between Jullian and Brian that it frustrated me while reading it. But I loved how their "relationship" blossomed into what it became. So the ending was romantic and sexy at the same time.

As for Victoria, I hope she gets a book all to herself. She isn't shy and really puts herself out there. ( )
