A delightful story of a pen that has it's own mind, this book features a pen with a mind of it's own. The pen is tossed through many adventures as it writes only what it considers should be told to those using it. This is a mixture of inappropriate advise and insults. From being Uncle Floods shiny new pen to being tossed out of the window and into a police officers hand no one finds the pen humorous or useful. Suddenly the pen is thrown into the street and the wealthy Mrs. Pigeon-Smythe finds humor in the witty pen. She share it with dukes and duchesses and places it in under a glass to keep it safe, only for the pen to escape. Landing on the ground the pen was found by young Horace who appreciated its every feature. Finally, feeling truly appreciated the pen allows Horace to use it as he wishes and Horaces draws his heart out. The thought of using an unnamed pen as the main character in a book it a fabulous new twist with a new point of view. Writing from different points of views adds a great sense of engagement. ( ) The obstinate pen is a book about a very curious pen. The pen writes what is the truth or what it wants to write! Uncle Flood started to write a note and it only insulted him. He threw the pen out the window and a police officer found it, when the officer tried to write a ticket, the pen told him to kiss the women after many attempts at writing the ticket, the officer gave up and kissed the woman! After the officer tossed out the pen, and old woman found it and wanted to write a memoir. The pen would not write what she wanted, but she thought it was hilarious. She had a dinner party and the pen insulted everyone at the party. She encased the pen, but the pen escaped. The pen found it's way to a young boy who used it to draw pictures. The pen let him draw whatever he wanted! nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
Uncle Flood is very pleased with his new pen until he tries to write with it and finds that it writes only what it wants to for him, and the series of people who try it after him, until finally his nephew Horace tries something new. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
